Lloyd Burnard and Darcy Lane of REDS Group met with Commander Colin Maude and Regional Engagement Officer, Alex Orr, of the Royal Navy, to receive the Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award at RNAS Culdrose.
The Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award is presented to organisations that have signed the Armed Forces Covenant Pledge, which is a pledge to ensure that those who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces are treated fairly and with respect.
REDS Group is delighted to receive this prestigious award which signifies that we are Armed Forces-friendly and committed to employing those serving or who have served in the Armed Forces, together with their families.
This award holds great weight for REDS Group and will further strengthen our relationship with the Ministry of Defence. Going forward we hope to pursue the next level of AFC recognition with the Silver award and ultimately progress to achieving the Gold level status.
Thank you to Alex Orr of the Royal Navy for organising this exciting day at RNAS Culdrose and to Commander Colin Maude, for presenting this award to REDS. This day will always be of significant importance to us.
Pleased to say REDS Group have signed the AFC and are now Bronze members of the Employers Recognition Scheme. REDS Group are Armed Forces-friendly and open to employing reservists, Armed Forces veterans, including WIS spouses/partners.
