Sustainability & ESG

We are fully committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact.

This commitment is embedded across our operations, both internally through responsible business practices and externally by supporting our clients in managing and mitigating their environmental risks.

Whether it is through fuel asset maintenance to minimise the risk of product loss, decommissioning of aged infrastructure, environmental consultancy or the delivery of sustainable remediation solutions, sustainability sits at the heart of the specialist consulting and contracting services we provide.

We are taking clear and proactive steps to reduce our own carbon emissions.

This includes managing our vehicle fleet carefully and responsibly. We track and monitor carbon output by analysing data from our fuel cards and vehicle tracking systems, allowing us to identify opportunities for emissions reduction. Our vehicle policy encourages the use of newer vans fitted with the latest Euro engines, as well as vehicle sharing where practical, helping to improve fuel efficiency and cut down on unnecessary mileage.

Committed to Zero Waste

Waste management is another key area of focus. We maintain an environmental aspects and impacts register and work only with waste partners who share our zero to landfill targets. We have a strict internal policy of recycling all waste generated across our sites and offices, and we actively encourage our teams to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible.

Sustainability at the Core

Beyond our internal practices, we deliver sustainability through every aspect of our service offering. From adopting sustainable, in-situ land remediation techniques to effective waste segregation on site, we aim to minimise environmental impact at every stage of a project. We also prioritise working with local suppliers to reduce travel-related emissions and support local economies.

At REDS, sustainability is not an add-on. It is a core principle that guides how we operate, how we deliver our services, and how we plan for the future
