We spoke to Darcy Lane to learn more about him, his career journey in the fuel industry, and what a day at REDS is like for him.
Darcy Lane joined us in August 2022 to lead our commercial operations as Commercial Director. Since then, Darcy has been appointed Managing Director of REDS Group. Darcy is responsible for controlling and overseeing all business operations, people, and ventures.
My day is always dynamically changing. It involves liaising with REDS management teams on support issues and interacting with clients on smooth operations.
Management of change, normally at companies struggling with engagement and processes, from various positions throughout my career.
I served in the Royal Navy, and during this time I served three times for the Fleet Air Arms Field Gun at the Royal Tournament Field Gun Completion at Earls Court.
As an aircraft technician, I was mainly working for Commando helicopter squadrons in support of Royal Marine operations, largely in fuel supply roles.
I spend it with family and visiting various historical sites.
Don’t stress over the little things; enjoy life as it happens.
