REDS secures 5-year planned maintenance contract for NHS facility

REDS is pleased to announce the award of a five-year Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract to support the fuel and backup power infrastructure at an NHS site in the Midlands.

The contract covers the ongoing maintenance of critical fuelling systems that play an important role in keeping essential services running safely and reliably in an operational hospital site.

Speaking about the win, Fuel and Power Manager Kirk Main said:

“I’m extremely proud to have secured a five-year Planned Preventative Maintenance contract for the site’s fuel infrastructure. This gives us confidence that critical systems supporting site and patient care are being proactively maintained, reduces risk, and strengthens the site’s overall resilience. It also reflects a strong commitment to long-term planning, safety, and sustainability, which is essential in a live NHS environment.”

Being trusted to maintain a live healthcare environment is a responsibility we take seriously. This appointment recognises our team’s focus on compliance, reliability, and delivering high standards where they matter most.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the bid and mobilisation process, as well as the engineers and support teams whose professionalism and consistency were key to securing the contract.

We are looking forward to building a strong, long-term partnership with the site, supporting safe and efficient operations while minimising disruption for staff and patients.
